Always Buy the Tourist Pass in a City

The reason I say to “Always Buy the Tourist Pass in a City” is because it gives you that little push to see the best sights, it saves time, and it encourages you to see the parts of a city that you might not bother with without the pre-paid pass.

I purchased a 48-hour pass which included transportation. I did the math and determined that not only did I see all the major sites in 48 hours, but I saved quite a bit of money. It was lots of fun but I’m also a little worn out and tired of climbing stairs to see yet another view.

See the photos below to see Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, scenes from the small tourist boat, a farmer’s market, various churches, views of the Vltava River, great tech stuff from the Science Museum, tasty-looking food, and art from the Kampa Museum.

Since I started my Prague Visitor Pass about about 10:30 am on Thursday, I still had some time to see some stuff this morning. I made the most of my time with a trip to the Science Museum and the first part of the Historic Tram 42 until my pass actually expired and the conductor said I had to get off or buy another 24-hour pass.

Without a doubt, Prague is a cool city. I am enjoying my time here.
